CABLE SERVICE BUREAU RELEASES SPREADSHEET
VERSION 2.1 OF FCC FORM 1210 (Report CS 95-6,
Cable Services Action)
     Today the Commission released its spreadsheet
version of the form for use by cable operators updating rates
for regulated cable service, Revised Form 1210.

COMMISSION AND  CONTINENTAL CABLEVISION, 
INC.  NEGOTIATE SOCIAL CONTRACT; 
COMMISSION REQUESTS PUBLIC COMMENT
      The Commission and Continental Cablevision, Inc.
have negotiated a Social Contract that will, if finally adopted 
by the Commission, resolve cable television rate complaints
pending against Continental and require Continental to
upgrade its systems.

Affirmed main studio violation and ordered that Jones
Easter of the Outer Banks, licensee of WRSF(FM),
Columbia, SC, is  liable for forfeiture in the amount of

UNIVISIA, INC. Granted, in part, petition filed by
Univisia,  Inc.  seeking a declaratory ruling  either  to 
confirm that the dual network rules does not apply to 
Univisia's provision of programming to Costa de  Oro 
Television Inc. or, in the event that it does apply, a waiver

MOBILE DATACOM CORPORATION. Granted, with
conditions, application for blanket authority to construct and
operate on a temporary basis 10,000 mobile domestic earth

Granted motion of DIRECTV, Inc. for extension of time in
which to respond to petition filed by American Cable
Systems of California, Inc. for special relief from rate
regulation for its system in Los Angeles, CA.  (By Order
[DA 95-695] adopted March 31, 1995 by the Chief, Cable
Services Bureau)

CABLE LETTERS.  Granted, contingent rate increases for
the following cable companies in various communities: 
Paragon Cable Manhattan [DA 95-699];  Meredith Cable
Television [DA 95-700]; Comcast Cablevision of
Tallahassee, Inc., [DA 95-701], and Cox Cable Hampton
Roads, Inc., [DA 95-702].  Increases were granted
contingent on final approval of the reasonableness of the
cable operators rates from May 15, 1994 forward.  If the
underlying cable programming services tier rates are found
unreasonable, the cable operator may be held liable for
