a wide range of wireless telecommunications services, the
FCC today announced a plan to reduce burdens and to
enhance the competitive potential for 220 MHz services.

FCC REPEALS PTAR RULE -MM DOCKET NO. 94-123-
(Report No. DC-95-105 Action in Docket Case).
     The Commission today eliminated a 25-year old
regulation that affects television programming during the
prime time viewing hours.

FCC ALLOWS FOX TELEVISION TO RETAIN
OWNERSHIP STRUCTURE; RENEWAL OF WNYW-TV,
NEW YORK CITY, GRANTED. (Report No. MM 95-72
Mass Media Action).
     The FCC has allowed Fox Television Stations, Inc.
("FTS") to retain its current ownership structure, finding
that it would not serve the public interest to require FTS to
restructure in order to comply with the 25 percent foreign
ownership benchmark established in Section 310(b) of the
Communications Act.
