COMMISSION PROPOSES ELIMINATION OF RULES
RELATING TO THE FILING OF UHF NOISE FIGURE
PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS - ET DOCKET NO.
95-144 (Report No. DC 95-115, Action in Docket Case)
     Calling it obsolete and unduly burdensome for both
government and industry resources, the Commission has
proposed to eliminate the requirement that parties who
manufacture, import, or market television receivers file
reports concerning the UHF noise figure performance of
recently-introduced models.
     Action by the Commission September 5, 1995 by
NPRM (FCC 95-389).

CARIBOU, ME.   Denied review and ordered CanXus
Broadcasting Corporation, licensee of WCDU-FM, Caribou,
ME, to forfeit $1,000 for willful and repeated violation  of
the rules regarding unauthorized transfer of control.  (By
MO&O [FCC 95-342] adopted August 4 by the
Commission)

BOONVILLE AND FAYETTE, MO.  Effective October
27, substituted Channel 230C3 for Channel 230A at
Boonville, and modified the license of KTLH accordingly;
reallotted Channel 230C3 from Boonville to Fayette.  (MM
Docket No.  95-73 by R&O [DA 95-1907] adopted
September 1 by the Chief, Allocations Branch, Mass Media
Bureau)

BINGHAMTON, NY.   Granted application to renew the
license of WICZ-TV, Binghamton, subject to conditions;
notified Stainless Broadcasting Company, licensee of WICZ-
TV, of an apparent liability of forfeiture in the amount of
$110,000 for willful and repeated violation of the rule
limiting the amount of commercial matter that may be aired

substituted Channel 259A for Channel 232A at Jackson, and
modified the license of KNGT, Jackson to specify operation
