TELCAM APPARENTLY LIABLE FOR FORFEITURE OF
$40,000 IN SLAMMING CASE -- (Report No. CC 95-57,
Common Carrier Action)
     The Common Carrier Bureau has issued a Notice of
Apparent Liability (NAL) finding TELCAM,
Telecommunications Company of the Americas, Inc.
(TELCAM) apparently liable for a forfeiture penalty of
$40,000 for willfully violating Commission rules and orders
concerning changes to a consumers' long distance carriers.
