FCC DENIED AMERITEL'S APPLICATION FOR
REVIEW. (Report No. GN 95-8, General Action)
     The FCC denied Ameritel's August 7, 1995
application for review, which sought review of a Review
Board order denying Ameritel's petition to intervene in a
proceeding.

COMMON CARRIER BUREAU DIRECTS CAPITAL
NETWORK SYSTEM TO ADD CONSUMER MESSAGE
AND LOWER RATES OR JUSTIFY THEM (Report No.
CC 95-59, Common Carrier Action)
     The Common Carrier Bureau has directed Capital
Network System, Inc., an operator service provider, to add
additional information to the recorded messages on its
network and to either reduce its rates or seek to justify them
with the Commission.

NORTH DAKOTA.  Dismissed a complaint filed against the
rate charged for cable programming service in Leeds, ND.

the Chief, Financial Analysis and Compliance Division,
Cable Services Bureau)  

COMCAST CABLEVISION OF MOUNT CLEMENS,
INC.  Remanded in part, and denied in part, an appeal of a
local rate order filed by Comcast Cablevision of Mount
Clemens, Inc.  Also vacated a prior stay of the local rate
order which had been in effect pending the resolution of
Comcast's appeal.  (By MO&O [DA 95-2107] adopted
October 2, 1995 by the Chief, Cable Services Bureau)

KING VIDEOCABLE COMPANY-PLACERVILLE. 
Remanded to the local franchising authority, El Dorado
Hills Community Services District, CA, the appeal filed by

CENTURY COMMUNICATIONS CORPORATION,
D/B/A YUMA CABLEVISION.  Remanded to the local
franchising authority, City of Yuma, AZ, the appeal filed by
Century so that it may enter an order consistent with the
Bureau findings and in accordance with the terms of this

STATISTICAL REPORT ON AVERAGE RATES.  The
Cable Services Bureau is requesting certain cable operators
to respond to a price survey questionnaire designed to solicit
information concerning rates for basic and cable
programming services, and equipment used to receive such
services.  Cable operators subject to the price survey
requirements shall complete and return the questionnaire by
