BAY MINETTE AND DAPHNE, AL. Effective December
8, 1995 amended the FM table of allotments to reallot
Channel 293C2 from Bay Minette to Daphne, Alabama, as
its first local aural transmission service; modified the license
of Station WAVH(FM) accordingly; terminated the
proceeding. (MM Docket No. 93-313 by R&O [DA 95-
2158] adopted October 13, 1995 by the Chief, Allocations
Branch, Policy and Rules Division, Mass Media Bureau)

SOUTHAMPTON, BRIDGEHAMPTON, WESTHAMPTON
AND CALVERTON-ROANOKE, NY. Denied the
application for review and motion for stay filed by Faircom
Southampton, Inc., denied the petitions for reconsideration
filed by American Media, Inc. and East Shore Broadcasting
Corp., and dismissed the petition for reconsideration filed by 
Peconic Bay Broadcasting Corp. regarding the R&O in this
FM proceeding; terminated the proceeding. (MM Docket No.

WILLOWS AND DUNNIGAN, CA. Effective December 8,
1995, amended the FM table of allotments to allot Channel
288B1 to Dunnigan, California; modified the license of
Station KQSC(FM) in Willows, California, to specify
operation on Channel 288B1 in lieu of Channel 288A;
terminated the proceeding. (MM Docket No. 94-29 by R&O

JUST AARON, COMPLAINANT, V. GTE CALIFORNIA,
INC., DEFENDANT. Dismissed as beyond the FCC's

motions to impose sanctions; ordered GTE California to pay

FCC WAIVES RULES TO PERMIT GE TO MARKET
NEW, ENERGY-EFFICIENT LIGHT BULB (Report No.
GN 95-9, General Action)
     The FCC has waived its rules to permit General
Electric Company (GE) to begin marketing a new, energy-
efficient light bulb, subject to conditions.
     Action by the Commission October 20, 1995, by
