FCC CLARIFIES INFORMATION REGARDING OCBO'S
1996 AUCTIONS CONFERENCE
     On January 25, 1996, the FCC's Office of
Communications Business Opportunities (OCBO) issued a
news release announcing that it will host a conference
entitled "FCC Auctions '96" on March 15, 1996. Although
the Commission has pending rulemakings on 220 MHz, 28
GHz and 37-38.6 GHz, the FCC has not yet determined
whether to auction these services, as the press release may
have inadvertently suggested.
