Personal Communications Services ("PCS") rules in an effort
to move forward with competitive bidding for the remaining
PCS spectrum.

SOUTHWESTERN BELL TELEPHONE CO. (SWB).
Waived certain of the Commission's rules regarding
confidential treatment of SWB's tariff support material;
denied the petition to reject or suspend and investigate SWB
Tariff FCC No. 73, Transmittal No. 2533 filed by MCI. (By
Order [DA 96-398] adopted March 20, 1996, by the Chief,
Tariff Division, Common Carrier Bureau)

GTE TELEPHONE OPERATION COS. (GTE). Suspended
for one day the revisions to GTE Tariff FCC No. 1 made in
