SANTA BARBARA, CA.  Denied motion to dismiss and
petition for reconsideration filed by Solar Television, Inc.
and the motion to reopen the record and enlarge issues in

BELL ATLANTIC NETWORK SERVICE, INC. 
Suspended for one day and instituted an investigation 
concerning revisions to Bell Atlantic Network Services's

effective April 21,  proposing common construction charges
for physical collocation arrangements that been transitioned

BELL ATLANTIC TELEPHONE COMPANY.  Suspended
for one day and instituted an investigation concerning Bell
Atlantic's Tariff FCC, No. 1, Transmittal No. 856, 
scheduled to become effective on April 12, proposing to
clarify the application of the collocated interconnection cross
connect and to add Sonet-based offerings to the list of
services available for expanded interconnection.  (CC

PACIFIC BELL.  Suspended for one day and instituted an
investigation concerning revisions to Pacific Bell Tariff FCC
No. 128, Transmittal No. 1858, scheduled to become

center (FLSMCA12) to its physical collocation service after
receiving a bona fide request.  (CC Docket No. 93-162 by

SOUTHWESTERN BELL TELEPHONE COMPANY
(SWB).   Waived rules; suspended for one day and
instituted an investigation concerning revisions to SWB's
Tariff FCC No. 73,  Transmittal No. 2524,  to revise
certain of its existing virtual collocation rates, including
deleting interconnector-designated equipment for which there
is no demand, and to modify a number of its regulations
pertaining to virtual collocation.  (By Order [DA 96-501]

U S WEST COMMUNICATIONS INC.  Suspended for one
day and instituted an investigation concerning the reviews to
U S West's Tariff FCC No. 5, Transmittal No. 713, 
scheduled to become effective  April 15, proposing to
modify the existing expanded interconnection channel
terminations for digital data service and DS1 to include
interconnection to U S West's frame relay service.  (CC

**  OVER-THE-AIR RECEPTION DEVICES.  The
Commission is seeking comment on the implementation of
Section 207 of the Telecom Act as it applies to over-the-air
reception of television broadcast signals and multichannel
multipoint distribution services.  Comments are due May 6,
replies May 21.  (CS Docket No. 96-83  by NPRM [FCC
96-151] adopted April 2 by the Commission)
