CHANNEL SUBSTITUTION. Issued letter responding to an inquiry concerning the cessation of WWOR-TV's delivery of its signal via satellite to cable operators, and the substitute delivery of Discovery's Animal Planet channel by the satellite transponder. Clarified that a cable operator using FCC Form 1240 annually need not also file a FCC Form 1210 to reflect this channel adjustment. Clarified that an operator may move the Animal Planet channel, substituted for WWOR-TV, to a New Product Tier. Action by Chief, Cable Services Bureau. by Letter. (DA No. 97-0036). MMB
