FCC PROPOSES $1.12 MILLION FORFEITURE AGAINST BRITTAN COMMUNICATIONS FOR APPARENTLY USING FORGED AUTHORIZATION FORMS TO SLAM CONSUMERS. The Commission has proposed a $1.12 million forfeiture against Brittan Communications International Corporation for apparently engaging in slamming, the practice of changing a consumer's telephone company without that consumer's express approval.
