COMMON CARRIER ACTION - FCC GRANTS SIGNIFICANT PORTION OF REGULATORY RELIEF SOUGHT BY MID-SIZED INCUMBENT LECS. The Commission granted significant regulatory relief to mid-sized incumbent local exchange carriers (LECs) in its Orders addressing a petition for forbearance filed by the Independent Telephone and Telecommunications Alliance (ITTA).
