COMMON CARRIER BUREAU SEEKS COMMENT ON INTRALATA TOLL DIALING PARITY IMPLEMENTATION PLANS FILED BY LOCAL EXCHANGE CARRIERS- CC DOCKET NO. 96-98 - PLEADING CYCLE ESTABLISHED.On March 23, the FCC released an order that waived the February 8 deadline for the implementation of intraLATA toll dialing parity in section 51.211(a) and the schedule for the implementation of intraLATA toll dialing parity in section 51.213. The Commission released a revised schedule requiring LECs to file intraLATA toll dialing parity implementation plans with the Common Carrier Bureau on June 22, if a state commission has not yet acted on the LEC's plan. The Bureau has accepted the intraLATA toll dialing parity plans, not yet approved by the state but filed with the Bureau after the June 22 deadline, listed in this PN.
