These links point to information released periodically by the Media Bureau relating to radio broadcast AM and FM applications.   Broadcast Applications and Broadcast Actions are released each business day and provide notice of AM, FM, and TV applications filed or disposed of, respectively.   Silent AM and FM Broadcast Station Lists can be generated as needed using the LMS database system.

AM and FM Lists of Community of License Minor Change Applications show those construction permit applications filed pursuant to the streamlined procedures adopted by the Commission in Revision of Procedures Governing Amendments to FM Table of Allotments and Changes of Community of License in the Radio Broadcast Services, Report and Order (R&O), MB Docket 05-210, FCC 06-163, released November 29, 2006. [ PDF | Word ].

Broadcast Station Totals News Releases are released quarterly, a few weeks after the end of the quarter.  The totals are also available in an Excel spreadsheet listing AM, FM, and TV service licensed station totals.  The first column, which is the date that the totals were computed for, is also a link to the News Release that listed the totals.  For totals between 1943 and 1952, please see the bottom of page 121 of the 1952 Annual Report to Congress, or open the Excel spreadsheet.

Lists of information about AM, FM, and TV stations can be generated through the AM Query, the FM Query, and the TV Query.  Output from the text output options can be imported into Excel or other programs for local use.

The FCC does NOT generate lists of broadcast station mailing or e-mail addresses, or telephone numbers.   Nor does the FCC collect information on radio broadcast stations' programming formats.
