This is a mapping tool to assist entities in determining whether they provide or purchase services covered by the scope of the collection in price cap areas. The tool consists of a detailed map that allows users to zoom down to the county and street level. Orange shaded areas depicted on the map indicate study areas where the incumbent LEC is subject to rate-of-return regulation based on the FCC’s study area boundary data collection. Areas not shaded in orange include the areas where the incumbent LEC is subject to price cap regulation, i.e., price cap areas, and areas that are not part of any incumbent LEC study area.
