On June 16, 1998, the Wireless Telecommunications Bureau announced the results of the PCS C Block Elections and identified a number of C block licensees that filed elections containing conditional language. See Wireless Telecommunications Bureau Announces Personal Communications Service C Block Elections, Public Notice, DA 98-1168 (released June 16, 1998). The conditional filings were rejected as non-responsive and were not processed. All conditional elections were resubmitted without the conditions with the exception of GWI PCS 1, Inc. through GWI PCS 14, Inc. (GWI Licensees). (See Appendix A for a listing of the accepted elections without conditions.) All of GWI Licensees' elections are therefore defective. All elections are subject to the procedures described in the Second Report and Order, Order on Reconsideration and the Implementation Procedures Public Notice. Appendix B provides a list of the spectrum returned to the Commission through the election process that is available for reauction at this time.
