This conference provided a forum for some of the nation's experts in the economic science of auctions and the FCC's auctions program managers to share information, present papers, and discuss the FCC's auctions processes. The ultimate purpose of the conference was to help the FCC develop the best feasible methodology for large-scale package bidding auctions, both one-sided and two-sided.

Combinatorial Bidding Conference - 2000

This conference provided the FCC with a broad range of expert perspectives as the Commission sought to develop and evaluate the best feasible combinatorial auction mechanism. The conference also provided a forum for theoretical, empirical and experimental papers, panel discussions, and bidding experiments.
