On November 25, 2019, the FCC released a Report and Order to expand the Telecommunications Relay Service (TRS) Fund contribution base for support of Internet Protocol Captioned Telephone Service (IP CTS).  On January 10, 2020, the Consumer and Governmental Affairs Bureau of the FCC released a public notice announcing February 5, 2020 as the effective date of the Report and Order.
