The Federal Emergency Management Agency, in coordination with the FCC, will conduct a nationwide test of the Emergency Alert System (EAS) and Wireless Emergency Alert System (WEA) on August 11, 2021, at 2:20 p.m. EDT, with a back-up test date of August 25, 2021. 

The alerts must comply with the FCC’s accessibility requirements.  More information will be sent out about the accessibility requirements in a separate Public Notice.
