“This page is a digitally archived AccessInfo Announcement”

Today, the FCC submitted its second biennial report to Congress, as required by the Twenty-First Century Communications and Video Accessibility Act of 2010 (CVAA).  The purpose of the CVAA is to help ensure that individuals with disabilities are able to fully utilize communications services and equipment and better access video programming.  The first biennial report was submitted to Congress in October 2012.

The 2014 CVAA Biennial Report presents information and assessments related to the accessibility of telecommunications and advanced communications services and equipment.  This report also contains a summary of actions taken by the Commission to implement the CVAA.
