On June 25, 2018, the Media Bureau of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) released a Public Notice seeking comment on a petition filed by the American Cable Association requesting a waiver of the Commission’s rules requiring the accessibility of user interfaces on set-top boxes for some small and mid-sized cable systems.

Comments may be filed using the FCC’s Electronic Comment Filing System at https://www.fcc.gov/ecfs/filings.  All filings must reference MB Docket No. 12-108.  People with disabilities who need assistance to file comments online at https://www.fcc.gov/ecfs/filings may request assistance by email to FCC504@fcc.gov.
