The FCC has announced a tentative agenda for the Open Commission Meeting scheduled for 10:30 am on Thursday, September 30, 2021.  At the meeting, the Commission will consider a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) seeking comment on ways to improve the reliability and resiliency of communications networks during emergencies and ways to ensure that communications services remain operational when disasters strike.  The draft NPRM also seeks comment on improving the availability of information and communications services to persons with disabilities before and during emergencies.

The FCC meeting is online only, and streamed live with open captioning at www.fcc.gov/live.
