On February 15, 2017, the Commission announced a settlement with two Telecommunications Relay Services (TRS) providers, Purple Communications and CSDVRS (dba zVRS).

In addition to a monetary penalty for improper billing, the Order establishes a 5-year compliance plan to ensure, among other things, that these two providers have procedures in place to verify the registration information of TRS users before issuing those users ten-digit numbers.
