On January 17, 2017, the Consumer & Governmental Affairs Bureau (CGB) amended the telecommunication relay service (TRS) rules to incorporate by reference certain technical standards for the interoperability and portability of services, equipment, and software used for video relay service (VRS). The Bureau also seeks comment on the scope of application of the technical standard for user equipment and software.
