One week remains for participants to register to attend the 2nd M‐Enabling Summit, co‐hosted by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), in cooperation with the Global Initiative for Inclusive ICTs (Information and Communication Technologies) or G3ict, and E.J. Krause and Associates, the conference and showcase

organizer. Speakers include 130 industry executives, app developers, policy makers, mobile accessibility experts, and disability advocates who will be sharing the latest innovations in accessible mobile technology, applications and services.

 

Summit organizers anticipate more than 400 participants from 30 countries to participate in the M‐Enabling Summit

2013, the only global summit and showcase solely dedicated to accessible mobile technologies for senior citizens and users of all abilities with support from industry, organizations of persons with disabilities and the public sector.

The Summit will be held at the Renaissance Capital View Hotel in Arlington, Virginia. The Summit will be preceded by briefing sessions hosted at the FCC headquarters in Washington, D.C. on June 5th for international delegates to learn about the implementation of the 21st Century Communications and Video Accessibility Act (CVAA) in the United

States. The briefing sessions will be on U.S. laws requiring disability access to advanced communication services, video programming, hearing aid compatibility, emergency services, and other related issues.
