STATEMENT OF COMMISSIONER AJIT PAI
ON PRESIDENT OBAMA'S ANNOUNCEMENT THAT MIGNON CLYBURN
WILL SERVE AS ACTING CHAIRWOMAN OF THE FCC

I congratulate my fellow Commissioner Mignon Clyburn on the historic announcement that
she will serve as acting Chairwoman of the Federal Communications Commission. Given her
leadership, experience, and demonstrated commitment to the interests of consumers, I know that
she will lead the Commission with skill and integrity. For the past eleven months, I have
appreciated the collegial approach she has brought to our joint labors at the Commission. I look
forward to continuing to work with her on the important issues on our agenda.
