Satellite Space Applications Accepted for Filing
The applications listed below have been found, upon initial review, to be acceptable for filing. The Commissionreserves the right to return any of the applications if, upon further examination, it is determined the application is not in
conformance with the Commission's rules or its policies. Consideration of each satellite application in this Public
Notice may depend on the Commission's action on another satellite application earlier in the queue. Petitions,
oppositions and other pleadings filed in response to this notice should conform to Section 25.154 of the Commission's
rules, unless otherwise noted. 47 C.F.R. 25.154.

Modification
ViaSat, Inc. requests authority to modify its authorized Ka-band satellite at the 77.3 W.L. orbital location (see File Nos.
SAT-LOA-20070314-00051 and SAT-MOD-20071204-00168) to move certain telemetry, tracking, and control carriers to different frequencies
within the authorized Ka-band frequency band. ViaSat requests a waiver of Section 25.210(i) of the Commission's rules (to provide
cross-polarization isolation information).
Note: ViaSat's request for waivers of Section 25.114(d)(3) (to provide antenna gain contour information) and Section 25.114(c)(4)(iii) (to provide
interconnectivity information) are moot in light of a subsequent amendment. See File No. SAT-AMD-20081203-00220.

Intelsat North America LLC (Intelsat) requests authority to modify the license for its Intelsat 706 satellite to operate the satellite at the 54.85 E.L.
orbital location, rather than at its currently assigned 50.25 E.L. orbital location. Intelsat expects to commence drifting the Intelsat 706 satellite to
the 54.85 E.L. orbital location in March 2009 and to begin operating the satellite at that location shortly thereafter.
