Satellite Space Applications Accepted for Filing

The applications listed below have been found, upon initial review, to be acceptable for filing. The Commission reserves
the right to return any of the applications if, upon further examination, it is determined the application is not in
conformance with the Commission's rules or its policies. Consideration of each satellite application in this Public Notice
may depend on the Commission's action on another satellite application earlier in the queue. Petitions, oppositions and
other pleadings filed in response to this notice should conform to Section 25.154 of the Commission's rules, unless
otherwise noted. 47 C.F.R. 25.154.

Special Temporary Authority
Satellite CD Radio LLC requests special temporary authority for a period of 180 days to extend the time period to conduct in-orbit testing of the
FM-6 space station at the 120.5 W.L. orbital location in the 2320.0-2332.5 MHz (space-to-Earth), 7051.5-7052.5 MHz (Earth-to-space), and
7060.0-7072.5 MHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands. As part of the authorization granted for the launch and operation of FM-6, Satellite CD
Radio is authorized to conduct in-orbit testing of FM-6 at 120.5 W.L. for a 30-day period after its expected launch and, upon completion of that
testing, to move the FM-6 space station from 120.50 W.L. to 116.15 W.L. See IBFS File No. SAT-MOD-20110525-00099 (granted Sept. 2,
2011). Satellite CD Radio seeks an additional 180-days to conduct in-orbit testing and to relocate the space station to the 116.15 W.L. orbital
location.
