Joseph Palmore most recently served as special counsel in the Commission’s Office of General Counsel. Before joining the Commission, he was an appellate and communications litigator at Sidley Austin. He also served as a law clerk for Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg of the United States Supreme Court, Judge Dennis Jacobs of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and Judge John Gleeson of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. Mr. Palmore graduated magna cum laude from Harvard College and earned a J.D. and masters in history from the University of Virginia.
