Broadcast Radio AM and FM Application Status Lists

The links above point to information released periodically by the Media Bureau relating to radio broadcast AM and FM applications.  AM and FM Modification Applications and AM and FM Blocked Modification Applications are released twice a month and are intended to give a general sense of where minor change radio applications are in the process of review.  Broadcast Applications and Broadcast Actions are released each business day and provide notice of AM, FM, and TV applications filed or disposed of, respectively.  Call Sign Changes are released as needed and list recent AM, FM, and TV call sign changes and assignments.  Silent AM and FM Broadcast Station Lists are updated twice a month and lists those radio stations that have been silent for at least two months.

AM and FM Lists of Community of License Minor Change Applications show those construction permit applications filed pursuant to the streamlined procedures adopted by the Commission in Revision of Procedures Governing Amendments to FM Table of Allotments and Changes of Community of License in the Radio Broadcast Services, Report and Order (R&O), MB Docket 05-210, FCC 06-163, released November 29, 2006. Broadcast Station Totals lists the News Releases issued since 1990.  The same figures are available in the or Broadcast Station Totals Excel spreadsheet.  Totals include AM, FM, and TV service licensed station counts.  The first column in the spreadsheet is the date that the totals were computed for, and is also a link to the News Release that listed the totals.  Broadcast Station Totals are currently computed quarterly.  Broadcast Station Totals for 1943-1952.
