The SBA Office of Advocacy will be hosting Regulatory Reform Roundtables in Lexington, KY on July 31 and in Cincinnati and Cleveland, Ohio on August 1st and August 3rd. The purpose of these roundtables is to identify specific regulatory barriers to small business growth through first-hand testimony and thereby assist federal agencies in complying with the President’s directive to eliminate burdensome regulations. There is an established online form for small businesses that may not be able to attend, but would like to comment.
Our office, known as OCBO, serves as the principal advisor to the Chairman and the Commissioners on issues, rulemakings, and policies affecting small, women, and minority-owned communications businesses. We also represent the FCC in various matters coordinated with the U.S. Small Business Administration, including those involving the Regulatory Flexibility and Small Business Acts.
