Comments Due: January 22, 2013
In December 2010, the FCC’s Wireless Telecommunications Bureau (WTB) began a review of its hearing aid compatibility (HAC) rules for wireless handsets.
On November 1, 2012, WTB released a Public Notice seeking information and comments to update its review of HAC requirements for wireless handsets.
The original deadline for filing comments, December 26, 2012, was initially extended to January 7, 2013. The
NEW deadline for filing comments is January 22, 2013.
