Vermont Broadband Pilot Program Projects

Vermont Telephone

Vermont Telephone, in partnership with Connected Nation, will test subsidy design and amounts by offering two different wireline broadband plans.  Normally, Vermont Telephone’s retail plans provide a lower rate during the first 6 months, and then increase to a higher monthly charge.  For one plan, they will maintain a uniform $9.95 end-user charge for the full 12 months.  For the second plan, they will test a $9.95 end-user charge for the first three months, followed by a $14.95 end-user charge for the remaining 9 months.
