On July 26, 2017, the Consumer and Governmental Affairs Bureau of the FCC released a Public Notice announcing the comment deadlines on a petition filed by Sorenson Communications, LLC for partial reconsideration of the 2017 VRS Interoperability Order, or in the alternative, suspension of the deadline for compliance with the Relay User Equipment Profile technical standard.
On July 21, 2017, the Federal Register published the deadlines for filing comments on the Sorenson Petition, which contained erroneous information regarding the reply comment date. This error was corrected in a subsequent Federal Register publication on July 25, 2017.
Comments shall be filed in CG Docket Nos. 10-51 and 03-123, which may be accessed via the FCC’s Electronic Comment Filing System (https://www.fcc.gov/ecfs/).
