Comments Due [Corrected Date]:  May 3, 2018

On April 5, 2018, the Consumer and Governmental Affairs Bureau (CGB) released a Public Notice to invite public comment to help prepare its 2018 biennial report to Congress about:  

1.      the level of compliance with accessibility requirements for telecommunications and advanced communications services and equipment, and Internet browsers built into mobile phones;

2.      the extent to which accessibility barriers still exist with respect to new communications technologies; and

3.      the effect of accessibility recordkeeping and enforcement requirements on the development and deployment of new communications technologies.

Comments may be filed online in CG Docket (Proceeding) No. 10-213 at https://www.fcc.gov/ecfs/filings.  Please title comments as “Public Notice Comments – Accessibility of Communications Technologies.”  People with disabilities who need assistance to file comments online at https://www.fcc.gov/ecfs/filings may request assistance by email to FCC504@fcc.gov
