On April 9, 2019, the Consumer and Governmental Affairs Bureau (CGB) of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) released an Order suspending for one year, until April 29, 2020, the deadline for video relay service (VRS) provider compliance with the Interoperability Profile for Relay User Equipment (RUE Profile).  The RUE Profile is a technical standard incorporated into the FCC’s rules to support VRS interoperability.
