On March 10, 2005, the FCC adopted a Report and Order and Memorandum Opinion and Order that provides rules for terrestrial operations in the 3650-3700 MHz band. These terrestrial operations are required, under Section 90.1331(a) of the FCC rules, to protect the operations of certain grandfathered earth stations that were using this band prior to December 1, 2000.

See List of 3650 MHz Grandfathered Earth Stations. This list may change over time as certain earth stations change or discontinue their operation, or the Commission modifies the list based on new information.
