Purpose: This report provides the depreciation reserve ratio (accumulated depreciation ratio) for large incumbent local exchange carriers from the period 1990 through the current period.

Content: Results may be selected by year and displayed by operating companies for the large incumbent local exchange carrier holding companies. The following holding companies are

displayed: Qwest Corporation, AT&T, Inc (formerly SBC, including BellSouth Corporation), and Verizon Communications.

Method: The depreciation reserve is calculated by dividing Row 3100 by the TPIS (Row 260 minus Rows 2680 and 2690), and multiplying by 100. The ratio is rounded to one decimal place. Dollars are shown in thousands.
