PR Wireless, in partnership with Connected Nation, offered service at a discounted rate. PR Wireless offered eligible consumers subsidized broadband, a flat subsidy of $25 off two different wireless broadband plans, each with the same end-user charge and usage limits, but with access to different equipment (hotspot modem (mi-fi) and smartphone) that the subscriber paid for at a discount. PR Wireless referred to this as the treatment group. All plans sold to customers included up to 5 GB of monthly data.
