On January 19, 2022, the FCC released a Public Notice announcing that the next Disability Advisory Committee (DAC) meeting will be held on Thursday, February 24, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. to approximately 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time.  The DAC meeting will be held remotely and will be webcast with open captioning and interpreting at https://www.fcc.gov/live.

At this meeting, DAC members are expected to discuss:

  • a working group report and recommendation regarding use of real-time text on wireline networks;
  • a working group report and recommendation on using telecommunications relay services on video conferencing platforms; and
  • any other topics relevant to the DAC’s work.
