On September 7, 2021, the FCC issued a public notice inviting comment on the accessibility of children’s educational and informational television programming shown through short-form programming and multicast streams. 

The FCC asks the following:

  • How much of this programming is closed captioned or audio described?
  • Are there any market developments that may impact availability of accessible programming?

Interested parties may file comments by accessing the Electronic Comment Filing System at  https://www.fcc.gov/ecfs.  All filings must reference MB Docket Nos. 18-202 and 17-105. People with disabilities who need assistance to file comments online may request assistance by email to FCC504@fcc.gov.
