In 2012, the FCC certified 53 programs to distribute equipment under the National Deaf-Blind Equipment Distribution Program (NDBEDP) in each of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Recently, the Utah Public Service Commission informed the FCC that it would not be able to continue participating in the NDBEDP, effective January 31, 2015.

To ensure that Utah is able to continue participating in the NDBEDP, the FCC invites applications from entities interested in receiving certification for eligibility to distribute equipment under the NDBEDP to qualifying residents in Utah.

Deadline for applications is November 15, 2014. Links to the Public Notice:
