Reassigned Numbers Database Webinar
The FCC hosted this webinar to provide information on the Reassigned Numbers Database (RND) which was designed to help prevent unwanted calls. The webinar coincides with the launch of the RND. Paid subscribers, including callers and caller agents, will be able to use the RND to determine whether a telephone number has been reassigned to someone other than the consumer they intend to reach, allowing them to avoid calling consumers with reassigned numbers who may not wish to receive their call.
This event included a demonstration of the database, including an overview of how to submit queries. It also provided information for callers and caller agents to register for and subscribe to the database.
