The FCC will hold an Exhibition Fair on Text-to-911 on: Wednesday, March 28, 2012 from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Thursday, March 29, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

This event is free and open to the public. Public safety officials, wireless service providers and manufacturers, and members of the public, including persons with disabilities, are encouraged to attend.

This two-day event will be held at FCC Headquarters, 445 12th Street, SW, Washington, DC (nearest metro: Smithsonian) in the Technology Experience Center (TEC), room TW-B505.

On February 23, 2012, the FCC’s Emergency Access Advisory Committee (EAAC) announced that it will sponsor a two-day Exhibition Fair of Text-to-911 Technologies and Applications on March 28-29, 2012.  On March 9, 2012, the Commission issued a Public Notice providing further detail about the Exhibition Fair of Text-to-911 mobile solutions.
