The FCC seeks comment on a petition filed by Sorenson Communications, LLC for partial reconsideration of the 2017 VRS Interoperability Order, or in the alternative, suspension of the deadline for compliance with the Relay User Equipment (RUE) Profile technical standard.

Specifically, Sorenson requests that the FCC reconsider the decision to require that VRS providers comply with the RUE Profile, or alternatively, suspend the compliance deadline until after certain certification, testing and patent matters are addressed.
