On December 29, 2017, the FCC released a public notice announcing that the TRS User Registration Database is ready to accept registration information for registered VRS users. VRS providers must submit registration information and user self-certifications of eligibility for all registered VRS users by February 28, 2018. Thereafter, registration information and self-certifications for newly registered users must be submitted to the database prior to initiating service.
