3.5 GHz Spectrum Access System Workshop

January 14, 2014, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST
Commission Meeting Room at the FCC, 445 12th Street, SW, Room TW-C305, Washington, DC 20554.

The Wireless Telecommunications Bureau (WTB) and Office of Engineering and Technology (OET) hosted a workshop on the Spectrum Access System (SAS) for the 3550-3650 MHz band (3.5 GHz band), as proposed in the 3.5 GHz NPRM. The workshop focused on the technical requirements, architecture, and operational parameters of the SAS. WTB and OET issued a call for papers in advance of the workshop. This Public Notice lays out four focus areas for interested parties to address in their technical submissions. All submissions in response to the call for papers were due Friday, January 3, 2014.

To further facilitate dialogue between interested parties, we have created 5 online discussion forums, one for each of the focus areas covered in the workshop and a 5th to discuss the supplemental presentations on Radar Interference Studies. 3.5 GHz Spectrum Access Workshop Online Discussion Forums
