Licensing and Management System (LMS) and LMS Help Center
- Licensing and Management System (LMS)
LMS is the Media Bureau's Internet based system which permits electronic filing of broadcast radio and television application forms with the FCC. LMS will soon replace the CDBS e-filing system. Currently Video Division services, full-power TV , Class A and Low Power Television, and TV Translator stations that seek to file applications for construction permits or licenses to cover construction permits can use LMS to file such applications. Notifications or Special Temporary Authority requests related to television stations can also be filed using LMS. FM construction permit, FM license, and renewal applications for AM and FM radio services moved to LMS on September 25, 2019. We will be adding more filing Schedules (replacing Forms) on an ongoing basis to LMS. For a complete list of releases visit the LMS login page and click on LMS Releases. The LMS Help Center also has useful information.
